A dog runs through the screen door. The cat climbs the window screen. A ball or a ladder puts a dent in the frame. Torn and bent screens are one of the most common things homeowners deal with, and the fix is usually simpler than people expect: bring the screen sash to our shop.

Rescreen or Rebuild

At our Evansville shop we can rescreen a sash with new screen cloth or rebuild it when the frame is too dented or damaged to reuse. We also build new screen sashes. Either way, you are not stuck replacing a whole window or door because of a torn screen.

One Sash or a Whole House

Some customers bring in a single sash their dog went through. Others bring in every screen in the house at once. We handle large batches too: an apartment complex recently brought us about 200 screen sashes. If you manage rental or multifamily property, that is exactly the kind of job we do.

Screen Cloth Choices

  • Fiberglass: what we generally use, and it holds up very well.

  • Pet screen: a tougher option for homes with dogs and cats.

  • Sunshade cloth: cuts glare and heat.

  • Aluminum mesh: available, but harder to install, and it tends to hold a dent once a person or a dog pushes into it, so most people prefer fiberglass or pet screen.
